His dream has always been to merge music and metaphysics, to help people be the best they can be. He believes Melbourne Inspiration day will showcase this!
Sharon’s life experience has led her on many diverse pathways. From utilising her creative flair and owning a successful business at age 21, to advertising, design, office manager and bookkeeper. Sharon also had a passion for human behavior and explored and delved into the fields of personal and spiritual development and worked with leading International speakers. Her passion has taken her on a 30-year journey of human exploration.
Sharon has always walked the path between two worlds from the physical to the metaphysical, as a gifted intuitive guide, teacher, storyteller, and businesswoman, facilitating workshops in meditation, ancient wisdom and metaphysical principles. Her greatest strength is in nurturing people to grow by inspiring them to have the courage to be their authentic self. As co-founder and visionary of Shambhala Centre, a Centre for personal growth and transformation, Sharon loves to assist people to awaken to their inherent power, purpose, and beauty. For Sharon, there is no greater joy than witnessing first hand a person’s journey of transformation.
Sharon believes that in our fast-paced modern world, we are losing connection to our innate knowing and our ability to go with the flow and trust our heart. At some point in our life, we may experience a wound, be it grief, abandonment, betrayal, rejection or all of them. Some may spend their entire life unconsciously searching to fill their wound through various external means. While others may journey on"the Road Less Travelled" by consciously reconnecting to the innate power within themselves and heal their wound.
Once this occurs the person can embrace the wisdom of their wound and is able to tell their story. This is what Melbourne Inspiration Day celebrates for me, the resilience of the human spirit to overcome challenges.
Daniela is a Social Worker with 20 years of work practice in counselling, group work, community education, family support, social action and community development. Her diverse Social Work history has taught her that everybody has a story, her work life enriched by the true stories of real people surviving significant hardship.
To Daniela, these are the real everyday champions, the heroes, the very famous. The world more now than ever, must have opportunities to see who the famous really are, miles away from those portrayed in today’s media. Let’s celebrate, shine the light on the famous, those ordinary people with extraordinary stories. Daniela is fascinated by people’s stories and can always be found at parties listening intently to the story people have to share. She often wanders about the million stories that lie behind the faces that pass her by.
Daniela is a mother to two magnificent teenagers, compassionate and grateful, they are her most treasured gift! Coming into motherhood was not easy for Daniela, she experienced Post Natal Depression. Daniela noticed that people around her, including other mothers didn’t want to hear about the real struggles some mothers experience. Mothers are consistently told that motherhood should be the happiest time of their life and that they aren't good mothers if they feel different to this. Daniela was determined to create a space for mothers to speak their “mother truth” by creating community awareness and facilitating Post Natal Depression Support Groups. Daniela wrote articles that were all published, she featured in her local Newspaper and was interviewed by Neil Mitchell on 3AW. Daniela has played an active and vital role in raising awareness of Post Natal Depression.
My dream is to create a safe space of presence and encouragement, the message that it’s ok to be in your truth. Melbourne Inspiration Day gives voice to people’s truth.
